The story of Fatuma Karin is one of the CMS trainers; members in DRC who is now working with the lector so commission.
She is still trainer with Women training Programme.
People were happy with the information. Teachings of savings wee really good and women embraced it whole heartedly. The women started using their skills and talents to in ways and manner of stewardship. Discipline, allocation of family finance, budgeting and Accountability and record keeping are impacting today's families in DRC.
The women were also inspired to start up their own initiatives so us to sustain themselves. Dependency in the communities where we have worked is slowly but surely being eradicated.
One of the women who is still young but staying with her brother was connected to start selling Protestant University of Congo who started with selling of stationary and today she is a big businesswoman.
The lady was a choir member at the local church and has continued to serve Fatima inspired her to start with what she had and not to wait for a loan. She started off with small items; tissues but today she has papers, pens, biscuits, sweets.
Today, the lady is living on her own, earning her own lives.
On the training materials, the number of days are to be increased to cater for the slow learners.
All the topics in the training manual were very important and should be emphasized to help the women in DRC.
