Psalm 61: 1-2: “Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you,I call as my heart grows faint;Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

The context in South Sudan remains uncertain with no political settlement of the political crisis the country was plunged in nearly a year ago. We ask you to ask and keep on asking for peace on behalf of the people of South Sudan. So please keep on asking for peace in South Sudan, that the political parties will come together to talk rather than fight. Please also ask for the Lord to provide food to avert a major famine.

CMS-Africa will be making a presentation at this meeting of Tearfund partners involved in working with the local church through a process called CCMP/Umoja. Let us pray for WambuiMburu as she facilitates these sessions. The meeting will be held at Dimesse Centre in Karen, Nairobi. Let us pray that the Truth of Christ would continue to march on, freeing many people from the poverty of ideas, destitution and the slavery of falsehoods. Pray that Christians everywhere would be aware of the tremendous power of their individual witness to model life in Christ.
Let us thank God for the consecration of Luke into a bishop within the Outreach Community Church. This happened on 6th November in Nairobi. Luke has been one of the initial Samaritan Strategy facilitators in Kenya, and went ahead and by the tremendous power of the holy Ghost, founded a transformational church and community ministry based in Soweto in Eastern Nairobi. Pray that God would continue to use this humble servant of God who has taught and modelled what is possible when Christians embrace all of God's truth in their lives. People have travelled from all over the world to visit Sheepcare Community ministry and see the miracles of God in the life of the community.

Over the next few days, she is setting up a centre that would be a rallying point for community activities, serve as a secretariat and also a training centre. On December 31st the campaign will culminate into a tree planting for creation and gospel movement in MIWANI to help conserve OROBA River.
