VISION Casting on SSA Wholistic Transformation Programme in Zanzibar
This week CMS-Africa in partnership with The Leprosy Mission England and Wales will be hosting a VISION Casting in Zanzibar.
The organisation has organised a workshop for their programmes staff from Leprosy Mission Offices and project partners from across Africa which will include participants from Niger, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sudan, South Sudan and Angola (and possibly DRC and Chad). The purpose of the workshop is to encourage, train, envision and inspire the participants. The workshop will be held on Zanzibar island, Tanzania during the week of 23rd August 2015.
A presentation of the Samaritan Strategy and some of its results is intended to inspire participants to consider working with churches. Following the presentation they would then plan to have some group work to encourage participants to consider how, with whom and where they might begin collaborative work with churches. They have set aside the 24th August to focus on integral mission and that is the day allocated to CMS-Africa to do the vision casting.
Wambui Mburu, a competent facilitator with SSA will conduct the vision casting. Pray as she travels and prepares to share the message of how TLMEW could more effectively encompass community transformation as part of their work. Pray for the team members as they seek to engage more directly with the churches.
