Isobel thanks God for DFID grant
I thank God for the DFID grant that our Kampala network has received to support vulnerable girls succeed in education. The network is currently recruiting new staff members to run this programme.

Rumbek VISION Conference
We pray for the forthcoming VISION Conference which will take place in Rumbek diocesefrom 23rd to 28th of May 2013. Pray for Bishop Alapayo Kuctiel as he helps to coordinate this conference that will include three other dioceses- Pacong, Cuiebet and Akot. Read more...

South Sudan
Violence in Jonglei State
We pray for an enduring peace and tolerance in South Sudan which has been riven by all sorts of conflicts for many years. More recently, we had armed militia fatally ambush five Indian peace keepers and kill a further eight civilians on the eve of 9th April in Jonglei State, which is said to be a haven of various armed groups. We pray for unity and understanding among the different communities in South Sudan, as reports shows that the state is hard hit by ethnic hatred (Courtesy of bbc/africa News).

Ruling on Presidential Election Petition
The Kenya Supreme Court upheld Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory in the 4th March general elections as Kenya’s fourth president.
